June 27th   New Map 'Kombat' ... NeVeRMoRe designs awesome banner... New Clan on da Block... Skins..

Last Banner had some uh palette problems check this one out. There is a new Map called "Forgotten Fort" which is a tight fragfest kinda deal .. crawl under the boxes for red armor, chaingun or grenades appear to be the most effective weapons. NeVeRMoRe sent along this animanted banner ... Sploooooooooooge Xtreme[TtD] is looking for a few good fraggers ... June 25th   Back in Business... Skeens...2 Yaddas ... 6 Player Doom

Cooler is back Dunno bout you but I love the models and skins in Q2. I want to put together a "cooler pack of skins" featuring the skins of the regular players so everyone can enjoy this wonderful invention. So heres what to do E-Mail me your nick, skin, and where I can get the skin and I will put the package together. In the subject line put COOLER SKIN. There were 2 yadda yadda's playing in games today how did that happen? June 24th   1v1 Tourney Server... New Map ... FunFrock[WAR] ...

5:30pm Cooler was back up briefly but died again ... ! Well Cooler is still down but I noticed on 128.138.140.26 that a Tourney server is running ..so we can challenge each other to 1 on 1 matches. I took a look at the set up and its pretty easy. When you enter the Server press TAB for all the options. You set up a team and the other players join it. You then "vote" on things like maps etc .. simply type vote for a list. Type "Vote Yes/No" of you agree with the changes. You both then type "Ready" after a warmup and frag on!!So who wants some?? Let me know if the cursor is annoying :) 1500 holy hitcount batman!! WOOOP Coolio new map based on Doom2 Map7 can't remember the name .. but mondo mondo fun. You thaught the rage fragfests were bad :) check this one out. Tip: Hyperblaster is most effective weapon. Lookout for WAR's latest member FunFrock[WAR] uuuh .... June 22nd   WAR Adds FATAL and KILLAZ .. All AfZ Must Die.. Confidence Lost

WAR Has added FATAL and KILLAZ to their Clan becomming a formidable force on the cooler. Speaking of Clans the rivialry between BAM and omg is escalating as tensions mount daily..I sense all out war. Spotted moping up the innoceents was members of the AfZ they must of course all be eliminated. I played "Confidence Lost" for the first time today, nice map but can you say huge!!! Not for the impatient player. Noted Killer Abusing the Rail GUN and Quad T-Bone Walker .. Nice Moves Miss Missle and Opulent_L4L

June 21st   New Map on the Block ... New Graphics... Rage grows up .. No Generations .. POW The Full Story

Theres a new Map to play on the Cooler now called "Confidence Lost" you can grab it locally here Thanks to NeVeRmore for da cool new graphics .. brrrrrrrr Looks like the Rage has had its player count lowered to 10 ... No more meaningless bloodfests skill is now required .. ( we'll see about that :) ). The top 10 list has also been reset so now is your chance to get in the top 10. The Generations server has been taken down. Bummer.. but there was a lot of legal shenanigans with the mod which has also been canned. Here the Skinny on the PoW clan .. If you still haven't heard the story here it is. For a couple of weeks there was a power struggle going on with a few members and there was talk of disbanning the clan. Then one day last weekend they gave an ultimatum to either go with the one member or go with the other both claiming that they were PoW. Crunch and I had talked about this and decided that if things got bad enough that we would leave and form our own clan. Well after that happened we decided to leave and form White Raven. Our member list is as follows: Crunch@, Grizzly, Paywindow, MuHuGoD, ILuVaDiA, SaMaEI, Vhati, Magnum, Hades, Kuntr, and Yocuz. The leader is Crunch@ and his right hand men are myself and Grizzly. We are currently full and do not plan on adding any members. I'll let you know as soon as our web page is completed (it's in the works). June 18th   Atrophy Admin of the Week .. Thresh Demo.. No Bananas .. 1000+hits

June 11th 1999:  Rift amoung POW Clan

Rumor has it that there is a rift within the POW clan and the rouge elements may be expunged.... Noted doin' some kikin Knight[FUL]. I think it might be cool if there was a 1 on 1 server running on Shrike servers. The players could challenge each other right there and then in the cooler. There would be room for a few spectators. Custom Maps built by Coolerites could be loaded etc. I would maintain a ranking table. I've had some experience of this with DOS iFrag servers and man is it ever fun. Email your local Shrike representative if you like this idea. I will be away on business in Paris for the next week .. oh la la .. so there wont be any updates for a while. Check the ShrikeForce Server News page for any updates etc.

June 10th 1999:  Thresh (Aww Yeah) visits .. POW v HMGL ... yadda has his revenge

Thresh paid a flying visit to the Cooler today... I was happy to receive his rail... we're not worthy, we're not worthy. I saved a short demo which I may publish. POW gets the upper hand v HMGL .. yadda yadda gets pay back .. Newly Integrated WAR member Gwardog[WAR] sends along an awesome video sequence of railshots (including reducing yadda yadda to small chunks )

Since I've been playing at the cooler and tearing it up here and there as well as being humbled in quite a few games I thought I've give some shout outs to a lot of the players. So here it is: KUNTR, Phantom[A-T], his mother, rigamarole, [Bitch] spoiler and pickle, Fucker Guy (who has my number), micjac (not the greatest yet but a lot of respect cause this guy is not afraid to run with the big boys and always gives a compliment), Gwardog, Boxdawg, yadda yadda (always gives me a hurtin), Grizzly[SiD] and yourself. There are a few others that I forgot to mention that I can't think of off the top of my head but I know you are out there and giving me a run for my money. June 7th 1999:  POW reign of Terror escalates

The POW clan continues to tear up the cooler despite brave counter attacks by the mighty jerry and irrepressible KUNTR ... many innocent coolerheads have died at the hands of these Predators ... we must band together and bring them down. June 6th 1999:  POW becomes more powerful can they be stopped? New Generations Release.

The POW clan has added CRUNCH@ and ILuVaDiA to their ranks. Does this make them un-stopable? Where is A-T when you need em' eh, slackers. There is an Update for the generations mod (797k) . Just wanna say thanks to all of you who e-mailed me and sent in stuff, frag on.

June 4th 1999:  A-T cleans up...POW Raid...

Phantom[A-T] and Fusion[A-T] were seen working the 'rage' it wasn't pleasent I can tell you ... A rouge Clan called POW from the Road Runner server were spotted cruising for easy cooler frags, they must be eliminated. The Generations (Way Cool Gen) server was up briefly but has died again it is now listed on the Generations servers page. Noted dising it out KUNTR.

June 2nd 1999:  Hydro Campin...

Sent in by Gwardog here is a short Quake Demo (45k) on how to pick up some extra frags in the 'edge' by 'Hydro Campin' Noted kikin all sorts of ass (including mine) ILuVaDiA. On a more somber note I lost my top 20 position in "Slimy Place" to jerry :(

June 1st 1999:  Sarah rapes Cooler players in the rage ..

Look out for Sarah (aka Sk8rdie/sinner when shes PMS'ing ..... Hey Gwardog WTF happened dude :) I'd like to start posting 'cool frag of the week'. This would be a short demo of an awesome frag or a favorite 'technique' for the cooler levels. I'm not sure if you can edit a recording and splice out a few seconds let me know if you know how to do this. Verbal frag stories are also most welcome. Way Cool Gen seems to be down I think the gen Mod may still be a little unstable (it is in beta).
